Artist statement

I'm an artist and gallery owner, living and working in Bingley West Yorkshire - I paint mainly in watercolour. My favourite themes are the urban and industrial landscapes of the Bingley area, as well as flowers, domesticity, emotions and colour.

Other experience

In February 2007 I opened “The Bingley Gallery”, a small gallery in Bingley selling primarily my own work, but also that of other local artists. Details at www.thebingleygallery.com.

The word about the gallery is steadily spreading and we are getting busier and busier. Hope you can have a look at the website, and come and have a look at the shop. I think Bingley is a lovely and beautiful place, with its rows of terraced houses stretching up the hills, the river Aire and the Leeds Liverpool canal, 5-Rise and 3-Rise Locks. Do come and share it with me, and see my enthusiasm in my paintings.
