About the artists
Sarah Danaher uses video and sculpture to explore intersections between the internet, technology, and religion. Danaher’s current work looks at Wakefield Cathedral to consider how the church has adapted to the digital revolution.
Michael Roberts’ practice involves developing woodblock carvings that become more sculptural as time goes on. His collaborative practice further involves building social spaces such as skateparks and other areas on dilapidated land. Roberts hopes to use this opportunity to combine these two strands of his practice.
Danielle Rooker specialises in filmmaking and performance. She has recently been exploring ideas about trauma, storytelling, infertility, femininity and witchcraft, and investigating how these themes interlink with one another. She hopes to make more film work on this theme whilst in residence.
