This half term, join us for a free, family-friendly workshop exploring our current exhibition of neon sculpture, FRED TSCHIDA: CIRCLESPHERE.
Using a simple camera app on your phone, We will guide you through the process of creating long exposure photographs – a method that brilliantly captures the movement of Tschida’s rotating neon sculptures, turning the neon outline into a vase seemingly made of light.
Have fun creating layered photographs or painting with light before sending your favourite photographs to be printed.
Once your long exposure photograph is printed, have fun creating overlays with tracing paper, bright neon crayons to add your own lines and patterns and finally add a frame to create a lasting masterpiece!
A number of devices, pre-loaded with the app will be available to use on the day. Participants with access to an iOS device like an iPhone or iPad can also download the app for £1.79 in the app store. Please indicate when booking whether you’ll be using your own device or will be using one of The Art House’s shared devices.
