Studio of Sanctuary
Our Studio of Sanctuary programme aims to use arts, culture and the creative process to bring people together and contribute to the building of a cohesive community that values diversity. The programme offers tailored professional development support and opportunities for artists who happen to be refugees or asylum seekers.
A series of free online print-based art workshops funded by the Tudor Trust are also included in the programme.
A weekly art group for older people with dementia and their carers. Inspired by Equal Art’s Creative Age, this project is based on the growing understanding that creativity is intact long after other cognitive functions decline. The group is currently closed and we’re moving everything online to keep our participants safe.

We need your help to
Match it by March-ish!
Earlier in the year, we were challenged by a local donor to raise £10,000 by the 27th of March. We didn’t quite manage it (thanks Covid-19!) but our brilliant funder offered to provide the match anyway.
We have left the campaign page open, allowing others to contribute donations to The Art House. All donations will be used to support our artists, both studio holders and our wider community, at this incredibly challenging time.
Can you help us support more artists?Of course, I'll donate now
