Create your own decorative botanical embroidery hoop!

Learn contemporary embroidery techniques used specifically for hoop art, an easy to learn, quick, experimental way to embroider.

This workshop will cover designing botanical imagery and all the stitches needed to create embroidery art. There will be a full range of fabric and thread colours to choose from, and lots of beautiful embroidery examples to inspire you. All sewing materials, hoops, imagery stencils and fabric are provided, to be taken home after the class so you can continue to embroider!

  • Who is the course for?

The workshop is suitable for all abilities, including total beginners.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

All materials and equipment will be provided for the workshop. Feel free to bring along embroidery threads to use if you have them.

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable.

Bookings cannot be transferred between courses, however, bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day.

In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop, your ticket will be refunded in full.
