Ever been curious about what it’s like to print in a darkroom? The Art House is opening the doors for a Darkroom Discovery Day, meaning it’s your chance to try your hand at something new or jog your memory of a traditional darkroom!
Sign up for a 1 hour taster session and have the opportunity to experience darkroom printing under the red light. In our accessible darkroom, all abilities and ages are welcome. Our Darkroom Technician and Coordinator will support you in making a unique photogram, which you can take home later that day.

Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is suited to all abilities and is offered as a taster and insight into the workings of our darkroom. All ages welcome!
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials will be provided, just bring yourselves!
Workshop Booking Terms & Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable, as are any donations submitted alongside a ticket payment. Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason your ticket will be refunded in full.
