Join us for a Saturday morning workshop exploring the relief printing process of linocut in our professional Print Studio.
Carve your own lino and create a unique edition of prints, created with specialist support from our teaching artist. You’ll also use our beautiful Albion relief printing press, restored to working condition and on long-term loan from Wakefield Museum.
Who is the workshop for?
Suitable for complete beginners in linocut as you’ll be guided through the process with expert guidance. Those with some previous experience may also attend to develop their skills and ideas.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials and equipment will be provided. Please wear old clothes in case you get mucky and shoes with covered toes in the print studio. If you have an image, drawing or book which you’d like to take inspiration from feel free to bring it along.
