Join us for a Saturday morning workshop exploring the relief printing process of linocut in our professional Print Studio.
Carve your own lino and create a unique edition of prints, created with specialist support from our teaching artist. You’ll also use our beautiful Albion relief printing press, restored to working condition and on long-term loan from Wakefield Museum.

Who is the workshop for?
Suitable for complete beginners in linocut as you’ll be guided through the process with expert guidance. Those with some previous experience may also attend to develop their skills and ideas.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials and equipment will be provided. Please wear old clothes in case you get mucky and shoes with covered toes in the print studio. If you have an image, drawing or book which you’d like to take inspiration from feel free to bring it along.
Course Booking Terms and Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable, as are any donations submitted alongside a ticket payment. Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason your ticket will be refunded in full.
