Painting with Oils: Six-Week Course

Who is the course for?

This course is ideal for those who have completed our Introduction to Drawing & Painting Course and wish to progress further, exploring new materials. The group will be of mixed abilities, early career artists and creative hobbyists.

Do I need to bring anything?

Basic materials such as pencils, charcoal, cartridge paper, brushes and oil paints will be provided, as well as drawing boards and easels. You will need to bring a canvas or canvas paper to paint on. Please bring an apron or wear old clothes to avoid getting mucky! Your tutor will discuss materials at your first session.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded (less a 10% administration fee) up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason, for example due to tutor illness, your ticket will be refunded in full.
