Access at The Art House

We can’t wait to welcome you!

Public Transport
The Art House is located just 60 seconds walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station. The free city bus connects us to key locations around the city centre, including Wakefield bus station and The Hepworth Wakefield.

Cycling
The Art House has a cycle station situated on Drury Lane, which is freely available to all. As well as ample bike parking, we also have a cycle repair station for minor repairs and pumping up your tires. Cycles are left at the owner’s own risk, however, the area is monitored by CCTV.

For more information about cycling to The Art House, and around Wakefield, visit our Cycle to Culture page.

Arriving by car
Planning on driving? The Art House is easy to get to by car and is a short drive from both the M1 and M62 for those travelling into Wakefield.

We are unable to offer public parking (with the exception of two bookable Blue Badge spaces), however, there are ample car parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the building. We recommend using Parkopedia for the most up to date pricing information.
