Join local ceramicist Hannah Way for a festive evening of making your own ceramic Christmas wreath in The Art House Ceramics Studio.

Hannah will guide you through the process of designing, shaping and decorating your clay wreath, sharing ideas and techniques along the way. You’ll have plenty of time to experiment with different shapes, textures and festive details, adding your own personal touches to create something completely unique.

There’s no pressure to make it perfect – this is a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you can enjoy working with clay, get creative and make a decoration that feels entirely your own.

By the end of the session, you’ll have created a beautiful handmade ceramic wreath to enjoy at Christmas and bring out year after year. Once glazed and fired in our kiln, it’ll be ready for you to collect a couple of weeks after the workshop – just in time to hang it up for the festive season!

No previous ceramics experience is needed, so whether you’re completely new to clay or already enjoy making, come along for a creative and festive evening in the studio.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for adults who are complete beginners or for those who wish to refresh their previous knowledge. You don’t need to feel confident in clay to start this course as all aspects of the medium is covered.

Do I need to bring anything?

All equipment and tools will be provided on the day.
We recommend wearing old clothes or bringing an apron in case you get a bit messy!

Booking Terms & Conditions

Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded (less a 10% administration fee) up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.

Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason, for example due to tutor illness, your ticket will be refunded in full.
