Print, Stitch and Solidarity

07 June 2026 10:30 - 07 June 2026 15:00

Join us for a meaningful day of creativity and reflection here at The Art House, a partner venue for the AIDS Memorial Quilt event Wakefield.

We will be hosting free drop-in screen printing sessions, where visitors are invited to create their own printed posters or fabric squares. Select your colours and pick designs that reflect themes of solidarity with the individuals and communities affected by HIV and AIDS.

You can choose to take your printed posters home to display as a gesture of solidarity, or print them onto fabric and contribute your piece to our growing collective quilt.

Throughout the day, participants can add printed fabric squares to a collaborative artwork. We will be hand-stitching the pieces together live, creating a powerful, shared quilt that evolves as the day unfolds.

No booking required, just drop in and be part of a shared and family-friendly activity of remembrance and support.
