Join our experienced teaching artist on this taster session to find out what screen printing is all about. You’ll learn the basics of using the equipment and materials, including the photo emulsion method of screen printing.
You will have the opportunity to design and screen print your own imagery to print onto cartridge paper using acrylic printing inks. This is a great introduction to the screen printing technique.

Who is the workshop for?
This session is aimed at beginners, so don't worry if you've never done printmaking before! It is also suitable if you have some previous experience but would like to try a new technique and gain some new inspiration.

Do I need to bring anything?
All equipment and tools will be provided for you. We recommend wearing old clothes in case you get a bit inky! Please wear sensible shoes with a covered toe - so no sandals, ballet shoes or high heels in the print studio.
Course Booking Terms and Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable, as are any donations submitted alongside a ticket payment. Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason your ticket will be refunded in full.
