Aidan Moesby is an artist and curator whose practice explores the intersections of environment, data, disability and lived experience. Working across film, photography, sound and installation, Moesby often investigates how unseen forces, such as atmosphere, weather systems and environmental data, shape how we experience the world.
Central to Moesby’s work is the relationship between climate and neurodivergent experience. Through poetic and research-led approaches, he considers how environmental conditions such as air quality, pollen, dust, temperature and light affect bodies differently, particularly for disabled and neurodivergent people.
During his residency at The Art House, Moesby will begin developing a new body of work Taking the Air, a project inspired by research undertaken in the Arctic archipelago of Ny-Ålesund.
Drawing from field research, environmental data and personal reflection, he will explore atmosphere as both a scientific and metaphorical space, a system that connects people, landscapes and climate across borders.
