Get creative at The Art House this summer holiday with inspiring, hands-on workshops designed especially for young artists!
Our Art Club for children aged 7–12 is the perfect place for budding creatives to explore new ideas, develop artistic skills, and build confidence through making. Across a range of exciting projects, children can experiment with creative processes to bring their own unique ideas to life.
Working in our professional Maker Spaces alongside our experienced teaching artists, participants will gain a behind-the-scenes experience of a real creative environment in a fun, welcoming, and supportive setting, while making new friends who share a love of art.
Due to space limitations in our creative workshop spaces, we ask parents to drop their children off for the session and collect them promptly at the finish time. When booking, let us know if your child has any access or learning needs so we can support them as needed in the session.

Print Your Own Tote Bag

Join us for a creative summer workshop where young artists will discover the fun of screen printing while designing and printing their very own cotton tote bag.
Using bold shapes, patterns and nature-inspired designs, children will learn the basics of screen printing and experiment with colour to create a unique bag to take home and use all summer long.
Perfect for creative children of all abilities, this relaxed, hands-on workshop is a wonderful introduction to printmaking, encouraging their imagination and building confidence in artistic techniques.
