Discover the joy of working with clay on this hands-on ceramic workshop with ceramist Abbie Brewer of Sunshine Child.
Explore the possibilities of ceramic jewellery as you design and create your own small collection of unique brooches, full of colour, character and personality.

During this relaxed and creative session, you’ll learn how to shape and form clay into wearable pieces, experimenting with different shapes, textures and decorative details to bring your ideas to life. Whether you’re drawn to playful designs, bold patterns or something more subtle, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your own style and create brooches that are entirely your own.

With Abbie’s guidance, you’ll discover how small details can make a big difference, learning techniques to add texture and decoration to your pieces. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to experiment, play with ideas and enjoy the process of making by hand, with no previous experience needed.

Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about working with clay, this workshop offers a welcoming space to try something new and explore the possibilities of ceramic jewellery.

Once fired and glazed through our kiln, your finished pieces will be ready for collection within three weeks of the workshop, giving you something truly personal and unique to you.
