MAKE SPACE Dewsbury will help to facilitate the abundance of creativity and entrepreneurship that lives in Dewsbury and Kirklees, providing the space and opportunity for that to evolve.
Currently under-used spaces have been adopted by The Art House and, together with community partners, given a new lease of life. Marking the first time that The Art House has worked with the town, this is an exciting chance to build a relationship and use our resources to support more communities in West Yorkshire.
Of course, this project can’t be achieved without the public. Artists, collectives, social enterprises and charities who need space, are invited to get in touch with The Art House to discuss how we can support you. For example, you might be an artist looking for space to exhibit your work, a social enterprise that is setting up a new community-based business, or a food bank looking for a space to support your community.
