Makers Social

Join us for a Makers Social! Whether you’re a long-time member wanting to catch up or a new visitor curious to see what we’re all about, this event is the perfect opportunity to drop in and meet our community of creatives!

Expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with music, drinks, and good company, plus a chance to meet our creative community of printmakers, ceramicists and photographers.

The event offers a great opportunity to take a look around our Maker Spaces and chat to our technicians to find out more about becoming a member.

Our Makers Social events happen seasonally, with the next event on Thursday 4 June, from 18:00-20:00.

This time, try your hand at our Tiny Print Challenge! Using miniature Tetrapak printing plates and our tiny laser-cut etching press, you’ll create your own small-scale etched print from scratch. Draw your design with a scribe, ink it up, and send it through the press to reveal your finished print. We’ll have materials ready to use and no experience is needed. At the end of the session, our favourite print will win a special prize!
