Secret Dishes From Around the World 3

We’re delighted to be one of the 20 arts charities that have partnered with Bounceback Food CIC to provide artwork for the third instalment of their recipe book series, Secret Dishes from Around the World.

Bounceback Food is a Manchester-based community cookery school fighting food poverty across the UK.

Secret Dishes 3 will feature 40 delicious recipes from 20 countries, artwork from each participating charity will be featured at the start of each section.

The project has all been made possible through generous donations and support from the public. In February 2021 a successful all or nothing crowdfunding campaign was launched to commission artists/facilitators to work with the charities, as well as contributing to the building of Bounceback Food delivery teams in towns and cities across the country. The Art House are so pleased to be Bounceback Food’s first partner in Wakefield!

We have commissioned our long-time studio holders and collaborators, Inspire Arts, to work with us on our contribution to our assigned country… the USA. Inspire Arts are a peer-led community group for adults based at The Art House, promoting mental wellbeing with the use of arts, crafts, and creative activities.
