Lucy Marriott is an artist and facilitator based in Sheffield, working across analogue photography, social arts practice and installation. Their work explores themes of preservation and transformation, using stories, ancient processes and found objects to inform their practice. They work with slow alternative chemical processes such as plant developers and fermentation, allowing space for unpredictable outcomes and challenging traditional, more damaging processes. Working in response to people and place, Lucy uses photography and collaboration to create spaces in which people can share stories, documenting these through written word, portraits and installation.
