Jill McKnight, Artists in Residence, July 2021
24th August 2021
Everything Is Still Floating is an exhibition of new work by artist Jill McKnight, developed over the course of a two-month residency at The Art House.
The show, which can be seen evolving in the gallery throughout July, presents a mix of sculpture, prints, works on paper, writing, and audio work. Each piece explores themes familiar to McKnight’s practice – feminism, the working-class experience, the connection between traditional industries and domestic life – whilst weaving the artist’s personal, familial and community stories through the exhibition.
