This course will run over 6 sessions on Thursday evenings 17 September – 22 October 2026, 6:00pm – 8:30pm.
Develop skills in drawing and painting on this focussed six-week course.
This course will focus on developing your drawing and painting skills to take your practice to the next level.
Perfect for those who have already attended our introductory drawing and painting courses, this will build confidence and help you develop your artistic skills.
You’ll have the opportunity to dive further info working with still life, portraiture and landscape painting and gain advice and guidance along the way.

Who is the workshop for?
This course is aimed at those who have attended our introductory drawing and painting courses and would like to develop their skills further.
Do I need to bring anything?
Basic materials such as pencils, charcoal, cartridge paper, brushes and acrylics will be provided, as well as drawing boards and easels. Students are encouraged to bring any of their own materials along to use throughout the course. Your tutor will provide more information at your first session about materials.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded (less a 10% administration fee) up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason, for example due to tutor illness, your ticket will be refunded in full.
