Join artist and printmaker Lisa Stubbs for a playful and experimental one-day Tetra Pak intaglio printmaking workshop.

Using recycled Tetra Pak cartons to create your own printing plates, you’ll explore an accessible form of intaglio printmaking and discover how everyday materials can be transformed into expressive, unique prints.

Through drawing, mark-making, inking and printing, you will create a series of prints onto cartridge papers while learning the fundamentals of drypoint printmaking in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.

Whether you’re completely new to printmaking or have some previous experience, this workshop offers a supportive space to explore, play with materials and develop your own creative approach. Lisa will guide you through each stage of the process, helping you build confidence and discover new possibilities for your work.

    Who is the workshop for?

This session is aimed at beginners, so don’t worry if you’ve never done printmaking before. It is also suitable if you have some previous experience but would like to try a new technique and gain some new inspiration.

Do I need to bring anything?

All equipment and tools will be provided for you. Feel free to bring along sketchbooks, images or books for inspiration if you have any. We recommend wearing old clothes in case you get a bit inky! Sensible footwear should be worn in the print studio (no sandals, or high heels!)
