Makey Wakey is back! Since 2019, our project has transformed empty spaces in The Ridings Shopping Centre into buzzing hubs for creativity, community and collaboration. Over the years, we’ve supported more than 100 organisations, from artists and charities to social enterprises. Giving them free space to test ideas, share their work, and connect with new audiences.
After a short pause, we’re excited to relaunch and open the doors once again. That means fresh opportunities for pop-ups, exhibitions, workshops, and all sorts of community-led projects to take root right in the heart of Wakefield.
