Join us on this one-day workshop to explore the cyanotype printing process and create your own series of prints.
Cyanotypes are stunning cyan-blue prints that make for the perfect home decorations or gifts to loved ones. On this one-day workshop, you will explore the unique photographic printing process with the help and guidance of our expert teaching artist.
Using a variety of found objects and foliage you will come away with at least ten individual cyanotype prints onto A5 paper and textile samples.

Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and anyone interested in simple photographic printing techniques. Those with previous experience of printmaking may wish to use the day to explore a new technique and gain tutor advice and guidance.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials and equipment will be provided. If you have any thin objects such as lace, threads, beads, leaves, buttons etc then feel free to bring them along to experiment with. Please wear old clothes in case you get mucky and shoes with covered toes in the print studio.
Course Booking Terms and Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Please note that Eventbrite’s booking fee is non-refundable, as are any donations submitted alongside a ticket payment. Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason your ticket will be refunded in full.
