Our portfolio development sessions are designed for students undertaking GCSE or A Level Art and aim to add breadth to a student’s portfolio through a range of techniques.

This session will focus on papercuts; looking at black and white stencils and exploring positive and negative imagery. You are encouraged to bring along your own school projects to work on and develop using the techniques.

You’ll create a black and white stencil drawing which you’ll then cut out to produce a composition for your sketchbook.

  • Who is the workshop for?

This session is for students aged 15-18 or those who are currently studying for art subjects at GCSE or A Level.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

All materials will be provided on the day. You will need to bring along your own sketchbooks and school projects to use as a basis for your ideas.
