Design and make your own set of stackable ceramic cups in this relaxed, hands-on workshop assisted by local ceramicist Naomi Aderonke. Focusing on simple forms and thoughtful proportions, you’ll learn how to create cups that not only look beautiful on their own, but fit neatly together as a cohesive set.

Using handbuilding techniques, you’ll learn to roll out slabs, work with templates, shaping and refining each piece.  By the end of the session, you’ll have created a small set of functional cups ready to be glazed and kiln-fired by our technician – practical pieces made to be used every day!

    Who is this course for?

This workshop is suitable for adults who are complete beginners or for those who wish to refresh their previous knowledge of ceramics.

Do I need to bring anything?

All equipment and tools will be provided for you. We recommend wearing old clothes or bringing an apron in case you get a bit messy! If you have long hair please tie it back.
