Amy Lilley – Project Coordinator

About me
I’m Amy, and I’ve lived in Wakefield all of my life, except for the 3 years I lived in Derby whilst studying Fine Art Photography at University. For the last 7 years I’ve been producing events, projects and exhibitions that shine a spotlight on the city, offer opportunities to emerging artists and that aim to give others the pride I feel for living in Wakefield. I’ve always felt inspired by nature, which has led to my love of gardening, going for walks with my dog Zan (who you may see in The Art House office from time to time) and being vegan!

Why TAH
I joined The Art House team straight after graduating in 2013, when I started a short marketing internship. I quickly found the creative community I had to been looking for at The Art House and on Artwalks, and I’ve been closely tied to the organisation ever since through different roles, being a studio holder and voluntarily managing Artwalk for several years.
