We’re excited to introduce CRAFTED, our new independent Makers Market located in the heart of Wakefield.
CRAFTED has been carefully curated by The Art House’s Commercial and Welcome Director Laura Taylor. The event will be taking over our gallery spaces on 2 November. We’ll be showcasing hand-crafted products from local Designer-Makers, including textiles, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking and more!
The event takes place early November, providing the perfect opportunity to get ahead on Christmas shopping while supporting local small businesses. You’ll have the chance to shop from 25+ unique makers all in one place!
CRAFTED also coincides with our Open Studios event. Visitors can explore our Artist studios, wander through our Grade II Listed Building—formerly the Carnegie Library—and join free creative activities in our Maker Spaces throughout the day. The event is ideal for families, and dogs are welcome too!
When you’re ready for a break our Coffee House will be serving drinks, delicious lunches and sweet treats all day long. We’ll also have a a special selection of baked goods from Cellar Door Bakery.
