We’re excited to introduce CRAFTED, our new independent Makers Market located in the heart of Wakefield.
CRAFTED will be taking over our gallery spaces on 26 April, we’ll be showcasing hand-crafted products from local Designer-Makers, including textiles, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking and more. You’ll have the chance to shop from 20+ unique makers all in one place!
The Lineup
Abby Sumner, A Wiggly Line, Amber Cooper Green, Bianco Perry, Becky Mann Illustration, Emily Kate Henshall, Eve Finlay Miller, Hallo Ceramics, Holding Green, Jemma Marston, Little Black Cat, Lucy Hook, Maria Lau, Nyoo, Natalie Bell Ceramics, Olime Soaps, Piierrote, Robins and Rainbows, Sunshine Child, Studio Sophie, Slow Progress.
Maria Lau will be offering Bonded, a permanent jewellery service and Eye Wood Vintage are also Joining the CRAFTED lineup, bringing a curated collection of vintage clothing and nostalgic fashion finds. Our Learning Space is going to be brimming with treasures!
CRAFTED also coincides with our Open Studios event. Visitors can explore our Artist studios, wander through our Grade II Listed Building—formerly the Carnegie Library—and join free creative activities in our Maker Spaces throughout the day. The event is ideal for families, and dogs are welcome too!
When you’re ready for a break our Coffee House will be serving drinks, delicious lunches and sweet treats all day long. We’ll also have a a special selection of baked goods from Cellar Door Bakery.
