In 2011, The Art House presented its first Open Annual Members’ Exhibition, a vibrant showcase of creativity from member artists across the UK. The Open Annual Members Exhibition was the first exhibition of its kind to be held in The Art House’s purpose-built studios.
The exhibition opened during the Wakefield Artwalk on 27 July, welcoming art enthusiasts and the public to experience an eclectic mix of artworks. From emerging talent to seasoned practitioners, the exhibition reflected the breadth and depth of The Art House’s artistic community.
Participating artists included Tracey Abraham, Marcha Brown, Emma Bully, Alison Carthy, Terry Chipp, Nick Claiden, Rob Clarke, Jenna Cranney, Francine Cross, Loretta Cusworth, John Cuttriss, Angie de Courcy Bower, Michael Everall, Tony Fisher, Jane Foale, Roger Gardener, Gill Greenborough, Angie Hardwick, Terry Hardy, Linda Harrison, Hazel M Hirst, Carol Holleran, Jill Hanson, James Kowacz, Miriam Laville, Michelle Leon, Chris Linacre, Jayne Machin and Sarah Jane Mason.
