Get creative in our fully equipped professional print studio and create your own stunning printed fabrics while learning the process of screen printing.
Our expert teaching artist will guide you through the printing process; from creating your textile designs, to mixing your ink colours, to printing them onto fabric while learning each step of the way. Finish the day with your very own series of printed cloth pieces; perfect for wall hangings, incorporating into your sewing projects, or as framed artworks!

Who is the workshop for?
Suitable for adults who are beginners in textile printing, as well as those who have some previous experience of screen printing and wish to use the day to gain tutor advice and guidance and some new inspiration.
Do I need to bring anything?
Basic materials for screen printing are included along with some small textile pieces to get you started. We advise bringing along some of your own natural fabrics to print on such as plain cottons or linens. Please make sure you wear sensible footwear with covered toes in the print studio. Aprons will be provided.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Workshop and course bookings can be cancelled and refunded (less a 10% administration fee) up until 7 days before the scheduled start date. Our workshops support the work we do as a charity, and because materials and equipment are ordered in advance, we regret that refunds cannot be offered less than 7 days before the workshop date.
Bookings cannot be transferred between courses however bookings can be transferred to another person in the event that you are unable to attend on the day. In the event that The Art House needs to cancel a workshop for any reason, for example due to tutor illness, your ticket will be refunded in full.
