Heritage Open Days 2024

07 September 2024 10:00 - 15:00

Heritage Open Days will occur on Saturday 7 and 14 September, 10:00 – 15:45.

Free entry, everyone welcome.

To celebrate Heritage Open Days, we’ll be hosting two very special open days at The Art House – opening parts of our building so visitors can explore the old 118-year-old, former Carnegie Library (now part of our Studio community)

The Carnegie Library side of our Studios showcases some of the building’s original features. Pick up a map to discover the original features of the former Library, including the book lift, original tiles and restored architecture. Learn about the building’s history through the 20th and 21st centuries, whilst also exploring images of refurbishments and floor plans.

Heritage Open Day is also a great time to visit the latest exhibitions in our galleries, as well as to stop by our Shop and Coffee house which will be open throughout the day.

Our Story

Want to find out more about who we are, where we came from and what we do?

Initiated by a group of artists in search of accessible and adaptable platforms to develop their practice, we’ve come a long way since 1994.
